Pediatric Acupuncture at Alethea Healing Acupuncture
We offer gentle and effective pediatric acupuncture services designed to support children’s health, growth, and overall well-being in a safe, nurturing environment.
Who Pediatric Acupuncture Is For - Our pediatric services are available for children ages 5 through 15 years old. Treatments are always adapted to the child’s comfort level, personality, and developmental stage.
A Gentle, Needle-Optional Approach - Needles are not required for pediatric acupuncture. We utilize a variety of non-invasive and minimally invasive techniques that are well tolerated by even our youngest clients, including:
Pediatric acupressure
Pediatric Tuina medical massage
The use of magnets and acu-tacks
When appropriate, very fine acupuncture needles in a variety of sizes to accommodate young and sensitive bodies
Each treatment plan is customized, and we always prioritize comfort, consent, and ease.
Supporting Whole-Body Wellness - Acupuncture and acupressure have been used for centuries to support children’s health and maintain balance as they grow. Pediatric acupuncture can help with many of the same conditions treated in adults, including:
Asthma and other respiratory concerns
Digestive issues
Stress and anxiety
Sleep difficulties
Post-surgical recovery
Immune support and general wellness
And more
Why Pediatric Acupuncture Works So Well
Because children are in a rapid phase of growth and development, they often respond very quickly to treatment. Many children experience noticeable improvements in just a few sessions, especially when care is started early.
A Calm, Supportive Experience
Our goal is to create a welcoming and reassuring experience for both children and parents. Sessions are designed to feel calm, engaging, and empowering—helping children feel safe while supporting their body’s natural ability to heal and self-regulate.
If you’re curious whether pediatric acupuncture may be a good fit for your child, we’re happy to answer questions and discuss individualized care options.
